Nomak - Blessing Dance (2007) //

Apparently there are some people out there who seem to think that an 8.9 magnitude quake in Japan is a complete fucking joke. If only the fuckwad who made this could confront those who lost their families that were literally wiped away. Piss off to whomever made this and I pity those who reblog this for their amusement.

Nujabes - Feather feat. Cise Starr & Akin (2005) //
Nujabes (a.k.a. Sebajun) is one of those producers that I believed had a true talent for everything he put his mind to when it came to music and the elements he brought to your ears. I first heard about him when I was watching an episode of Samurai Champloo, a Japanese animation that took feudal japanese sword fighting and mixed it in with hip hop music. I remember digging the tunes that were being played and it wasn’t too long until I found out there was a soundtrack to the show. I picked up the album Departures from Amazon on import and I couldn’t stop listening to it. The album had tracks from both Nujabes and Fat Jon (whom I later added to my collection as well). It took a while for iTunes to even have any of his work in the store for listeners to purchase. I saw a little while back that they had his album Metaphorical Music but upon going back into the store, I see that the album is no longer there for reasons unknown.
I really dig his instrumentals, but every now and then he’ll bring on some great lyricists like the track above featuring Cise Starr and Akin. Unfortunately Sebajun passed away last year in a car accident during an earthquake in Tokyo. R.I.P.
